The KIVA men’s retreat was spearheaded by Derek Baugh, Sybastian Smith, and Nick Coleman. This biannual retreat is specifically for black transgender men who have been leading in providing direct and supportive services. This retreat is a chance for black transmen to come together in an affirming space, participate in team building activities, have intentional conversations, and build lasting relationships.
